Robert & Kimberly’s Cannon Beach Elopement

This has been such a weird season for everyone with the current events in the world. I’ve been photographing more and more smaller weddings & elopements but honestly, I’m not sad about it! It meant that I was able to travel down to Cannon Beach for Robert & Kimberly’s gorgeous elopement/maternity photos! It had been probably four years since I had visited Cannon Beach in Oregon but I was so excited to be back!

Robert & Kimberly really wanted a low key ceremony and some photos to remember this special time by. We found a perfect spot with the infamous Haystack Rock and it made for a beautiful backdrop. Something to remember about the Oregon Coast is that the weather can be a little bit iffy. Despite it being a summer day, the forecast was overcast! However, overcast is always great for photos so I was so happy as long as it didn’t rain! Their ceremony was short & sweet and then we headed down to the beach to photograph more photos. I loved that we were also able to implement some maternity photos as they are currently expecting their newest addition!

This elopement was really such a breath of fresh air for me – literally and figuratively. After months of quarantine, it felt so amazing to be back to doing what I love with some of the sweetest people ever! I absolutely love all of their photos!
