It’s always so fun being able to shoot in Downtown Seattle! Travis & Maria booked their session with me months prior as they were visiting from California for a little anniversary getaway. The original plan was to photograph over on the waterfront with the Ferris Wheel. However, most of the piers are currently under construction. So instead, I took them on a little tour of Historic Pioneer Square and then over to Kerry Park!
It was a little weird being downtown for the first time in almost a year. Due to the lockdown and most companies working remote, there was very little people compared to the norm. However, it worked out great for photos! We started in Occidental Square and then headed over to a couple parking garages. Pro tip: the top floors of parking garages are GREAT locations for a city backdrop! We then finished off our session by heading over to Kerry Park – a Seattle staple. I’m so glad I brought them there because they had no idea it existed! And if you’re new, Kerry Park has the best view of the Seattle Skyline (other than Alki Beach). It was a little bit busy so we couldn’t stay long! But, it worked out beautifully and I’m so obsessed with this entire session!!
