Jon & Amanda’s Gold Creek Pond Engagement Session
It was so lovely heading back to Gold Creek Pond to photograph Jon & Amanda’s beautiful engagement photos! I’ve known Amanda pretty much as long as I’ve known my husband. Her family is very close with Nathan’s mom and so we’re all basically family like this point! I was thrilled to be able to photograph such a special moment in her life. When I say that these two are photogenic, I mean it! Photographing then was effortless. They are so in love and are absolute naturals in front of the camera.
It’s located on Snoqualmie Pass From the mountain views to the deep forest, it has everything one would need for an epic engagement session. Amanda had mentioned she wanted mountain views so I knew this was the perfect location to take her. It never disappoints! The weather that evening was perfect! It was warm but not too hot and we had clear skies. It gave for perfect lighting. When we first arrived, I was slightly concerned due to the amount of cars in the parking lot. However, we had no problems getting a spot around the pond. That’s why I love this location! Photographers can be lined up along the pond without being in each other’s view but still get the epic background.

Overall, this session was incredible and filled with so much love. I love every single image that we took. And I’m so thankful that I’m able to capture such special moments for family! I can’t wait to be a part of their beautiful wedding next year! Congratulations Jon & Amanda!
