My last big wedding of 2019 is here and I’m so excited to share! Toma & Genie had the most beautiful wedding at the Ballard Bay Club in Seattle, WA. I knew going into this wedding that it was going to be amazing because they had such an awesome combination of vendors and people that I LOVE working with! And it’s safe to say that it went off phenomenally.
Toma & Genie are some of the absolute kindest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. When I met them back at their engagement session, I knew that I was so lucky to get to be apart of their big day. They showed nothing but kindness and patience despite any challenges that had been thrown their way. If their ability to manage tough waters together continues through their future, then it is safe to say that they are truly meant to be.
Their wedding day went off flawlessly despite minor rain in the forecast. Photographing them is always so easy…they have such a natural way about being in front of the camera. They also had the largest wedding party I’ve ever photographed (like 20+ people!!) but I’m always up for a challenge! There were so many special moments about their day. I loved watching the father-daughter dance that was shared between Genie and her two brothers in place of her late father who unfortunately could not be with us. It was so emotional but such a special moment for Genie to have shared with them. It held so much emotion and was so special. Another favorite moment of mine was the incredible traditional Samoan dance performances that they had for their reception!! It was incredible. I am so thankful to have been apart of this special day!
