We have officially entered in to Spring here in the Pacific Northwest! There is no shortage of green anywhere you look at it made Randy & Samantha’s wedding at Sanders Estate the perfect feel for a garden wedding. Sanders Estate features such a beautiful property with ponds and trees galore! Randy & Samantha have such a special bond and understanding for each other – I love seeing them interact. Samantha is so sweet and gentle while Randy has such a kind heart. It’s so easy to see how much he loves her!
Their day began with sunshine and a comfortably warm temperature – everything was beautiful! Despite being a tiny bit behind schedule (which is the story for almost every wedding…it happens!) but due to their awesome family and wedding party, we were all caught up by the time the ceremony happened. I loved seeing their personal touches through-out their wedding. Instead of having a candle lighting or a sand-ceremony as part of their ceremony, they made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and each took a bite! I smiling so large behind the camera because it was the perfect way to implement their own twist on a traditional ceremony!
When the reception time came, the weather started to change a little bit for us and decided to start raining! With any bride, this would be something concerning. But with Samantha, it wasn’t even remotely a big deal! They proceeded to have their formal dances in the rain and it’s something I’ll always remember! Their evening was finished by sending the happy couple off with a tunnel of light sabers from Star Wars! It was such a fun way for them to say goodbye to all of their friends and family!
