If there’s something that any of my clients should know about me, it’s that I am ALWAYS up for sunrise engagement sessions! Deception Pass is one of my favorite locations for sessions because it really captures that Pacific Northwest feel with water, cliff sides, and lots of trees! When Sean & Kali were talking about what they were looking for, we decided that Deception Pass would be the perfect spot! And when Kali suggested sunrise, I was more than excited!
I met them at the parking lot when it was still dark out and we walked over to Pass Island where you can hang out on the cliffside and waited for the sun to peak through the clouds! We were on a little bit of a time crunch because we saw signage that they were going to close the road at 7:00 am for a marathon of some sort. We all agreed that we’d all rather not have to wait in that kind of traffic because there was only really one way to get back home! They were so amazing and we punched through this whole session in about 30 minutes and they turned out BEAUTIFUL! I’m seriously thrilled with how they turned out. Sean & Kali have such a natural chemistry and photographing them was about the easiest thing ever. I can’t wait until their wedding this September!
