I’ve thought long and hard about what I was going to talk about when sharing this post! It’s hard to put into words what an absolutely amazing weekend this was with so many wonderful friends & family. I had the honor of not only having a hand in photographing this wedding at Kiana Lodge, but being a bridesmaid, too! Tanner has been my husband’s best friend for over 10 years. He’s been like a brother to me from the minute that I met him! When Cinzia came into our lives, it was like the puzzle piece that we never knew was missing. Planning this wedding with her over this past years has been SO much fun and I can’t believe how quick the year went by.
For starters, the weather was absolutely incredible. I always joked that January has been good to me over the years but I never in a million years imagined clear skies! I had photographed all her details a couple days prior to the wedding (which was so much fun to do that ahead of time!). And when the time rolled around for getting ready photos, my associate Christine arrived and took charge (and was absolutely amazing the entire day!). We lead into the Father/Daughter First Look and it was the sweetest thing. Cinzia is an only child so this was such a special moment between her and her dad, Paul and definitely left me with tears in my eyes. From there, we continued into the first look between Tanner & Cinzia and it was perfect! You could see Cinzia’s big bright smile from miles away! Despite some mishaps (getting some questionable dirt on her dress…haha), Cinzia was beaming the entire day!!
Cinzia had really wanted to go for a fun color palette so all 10 of us bridesmaids wore a mixture of a berry, dusty rose, purple, and navy dresses and it just worked together flawlessly! It really made a statement without being TOO much. She thought out every detail and it all worked together perfectly. From her geometric centerpieces to her donut wall (that she made HERSELF), everything flowed and her vision came to life! The reception was warm and inviting but so elegant! As the reception rolled on, there was many laughs, some tears, LOTS of dancing, and ending in a perfect firework show. I still can’t believe that this day has already come & gone, but I couldn’t have been more thankful that I had a hand in photographing it! I’m so in love with all of the photos. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Vaughn!
