Jason & Taylor’s Spring Engagement at Lake Cle Elum

You know that it’s going to be a good session when your client just decides to meet in a town and just wing it! I met up with Jason & Taylor for this beautiful Lake Cle Elum engagement over in the town of Cle Elum. I always forget that it’s only about 1.5 hours from me (it always seems a lot further in my head!). We met up and I hopped in their car and we went on a little adventure!

We ended up deciding on this spot by the river. You would never have guessed by the pictures that we had to track through a couple feet of snow to get to this perfect patch of rocks along the river. But the cold feet were worth it! They even brought along their new puppy named Seager which was the perfect addition to our shoot!

Because there was a little bit of snow, we decided to try and find a spot without snow. We kept on driving and Jason decided to give me a tour of Suncadia Resort and found some PERFECT spots for pictures. I have three weddings at Suncadia this year so it was also super convenient to see the grounds considering I had never been there before! Jason & Taylor are seriously a matchmade in heaven and are so fun to be around. The more time I spent with them, the more excited I became to photograph their wedding at The Barn on Jackson this September! Here are some of their highlights from their session! Enjoy!
