Sean & Lindsay Snowy Engagement Session on Mt. Rainier 

I was so excited when Lindsay initially inquired with me! Lindsey is actually a photographer in the greater Seattle area, too! Check out her website here! It’s always SUCH an honor when another photographer trusts you to photograph them! This initially was meant to be a session for some new portraits of them to show off on her website, but we kind of turned it into a fun engagement session! These two are tying the knot over on the East Coast this summer and I cannot WAIT to see all the beautiful photos from their wedding!!

We actually had scheduled our session a few months back over off of Snoqualmie Pass but the particular day we were supposed to go, it was basically a snowstorm and we didn’t want to risk getting stuck or in an accident! It was a bummer but we were able to reschedule! They had a great idea to for us to go to a cabin that they were renting over by Mt. Rainier so I met them down there and we started our adventure to the mountain! Of course, there were minor setbacks because what is life without those?! Due to the snow, they had closed off the gates until 10am (we were there around 9:15-9:30am) so we decided to find a little spot to just pass the time. It was a gorgeous backdrop with snow on the ground and gorgeous trees and fog all around!

The gates finally opened a little after 10am and we started to head up the mountain! And man, we got lucky with a PERFECT spot! We were able to pull off to this overlook which was just COVERED in snow so we truly were on the side of the mountain. It was GORGEOUS! I had been getting so worried because poor Lindsay just wanted SNOW. That’s all she wanted! And things truthfully weren’t looking like it was going to work out that way but it totally worked out! I am so happy with how this session turned out! Here are some favorites from their session!
