Jeremy & Chrissy… I just love everything about them. Seriously, they have to be the most down to earth and they are SO sweet! I was so excited when they booked me because they had asked if I would be willing to spend a day with them heading up to the Rosario Resort on the San Juan Island’s to shoot their engagement photos… Some place that was so near and dear to them! OF COURSE, I said YES and we spent the long ride there together and I really got to know them. I’m so happy I did – one of my favorite reasons when couples choose to do an engagement session!
Fast forward to their wedding day, I pulled up and looked at all their decor and just about DIED. I recall from our engagement session them talking about how much they love Disney and make a trip to Disneyland every year (they’re seriously my kind of people….I’m a disney person!). And they had little hints of Disney throughout their wedding that was done so beautifully! I loved every second of their day – it was filled with so much joy and love. Chrissy truly has a smile that could light up any room.
AND on top of all of this…. while taking their formal photos, I was making small talk and asking what their plans were for their honeymoon. Only to find out that we were going to be on Maui at the exact same time! SO of COURSE I insisted that I needed to meet them on the beach and photograph them. Because, I mean, who gets to say that their wedding photographer followed them to their honeymoon? Ha! You can view these photos from our session HERE.
