Jake & Lexi’s Urban Seattle Wedding
It has been quite the year! So many big changes have happened in my life (WE HAD A BABY!!!) and while it’s been wonderful, I put blogging on the back burner! Now that life has evened out, I’m so thrilled to be able to share some sessions & weddings I had the privilege to photograph throughout 2021. I decided to take off 2022 from any new weddings to be able to spend as much time as I can with my sweet baby but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to share all the amazing work from last year that I’m SO proud of!
Jake & Lexi got married in January of 2021 and we were still kind of “up in the air” regarding protocols due to the state of the world at the time. Indoor weddings were limited to a certain capacity so Jake & Lexi opted for an outdoor wedding! Despite it being in January and a bit rainy, it was truly lovely.
We started the day at Court in the Square in downtown Seattle. Lexi was lucky enough to have been able to book the day for some photos! They don’t allow that often but I absolutely love photographing there. I was thrilled to have another opportunity. We spent a few hours capturing Jake & Lexi as well as their wedding party together! The rooftop views are unmatched!
When photos at Court in the Square were finished, we headed to Good Brewing in Woodinville for the remainder of their wedding day! It did rain but they had tents and heaters set up so guests had so much fun and it was very comfortable! A fun fact about the day is that my husband, Nathan, officiated their wedding! The day was so much fun & it was so nice to be back in front of the camera after 2020 being such a dumpster fire. Congratulations Jake & Lexi!
