It was such a pleasure being back at Gold Creek Pond for Ryan & Sarah’s sunset engagement session! It’s a little bit of a trek in the winter because they close the road to get there, but it’s always worth going to! This was my second time photographing Ryan & Sarah! I also had the opportunity to photograph them back in the summer (you can view their photos here!). However, they also wanted some fun winter photos, too, and I was thrilled to do it!
We had been on a streak of PERFECT weather. We were so excited because we could actually see the mountains in the back. When it’s cloudy, you can’t see the mountains sometimes because they’re covered. So we were in for a treat! They brought along their pup, Georgia, and let’s be honest, she was less than thrilled to be in the cold. But, she had plenty of covers to keep her warm! Ryan & Sarah are some of my favorite people to hang out with. We have such a fun connection because we’re SO similar so it just feels like I’m hanging out with friends! I absolutely LOVED Sarah’s emerald green skirt she chose. It popped with the snowy white background perfectly! I’m so pleased with how their photos turned out and can’t wait to photograph them again in a couple months at their wedding!
