Brent & Peyton’s Summer Sunset Engagement Session on Samish Island

PHEW! Now that wedding season is over for me, I’m finally able to blog some beautiful engagement sessions that I’ve photographed over the past couple months! Brent & Peyton have to the smiliest couple in the world! We headed up to Samish Island to Peyton’s family cabin for their beautiful sunset engagement session. This was a special spot for Peyton as she had talked about how many memories she had there growing up. So I’m so glad that we were able to make it work to head up there!

We had still been dealing with some of the smokey skies from the horrible wildfires that basically took over the Pacific Northwest for the entire summer. But, things had started to clear up so it wasn’t too bad at all! I loved working with these two. We kept joking that I’m a nervous talker (I talk A LOT especially when I’m getting to know my couples!), and they kept saying they were nervous laughers! That definitely wasn’t a problem for me because they have so many adorable photos of them laughing together! They are such a joy to work with and I am SO looking forward to them sharing their special day with me next year!
