Sunrise sessions are an ongoing bucket list item for me! There’s something about waking up early and heading to an amazing location to witness the sunrise. We witness the sunset every day – but I’ll be honest, one of the perks about being a business owner is that I don’t have to wake up before the sun rises! So I don’t see many of those these days! The best part about this session? Vanessa SUGGESTED sunrise! What?! A client that actually WANTS to get up early?! My dream!
My day started off early. I had to drive an 1-1.5 hours to get up to Deception Pass from my place down in Kirkland. I met them at the lookout on the bridge and seriously…it was STUNNING. Everything I could’ve ever hoped for! We actually arrived before the sun rose up so we had some beautiful soft pink skies. But then…the sun peaked over the horizon and the light was AMAZING. I was in photographer heaven! These two were so sweet in front of the camear. Poor Brooks was such a great sport – waking up at the crack of dawn, standing out in the freezing cold, all for his lady! This shows me that he’ll make a wonderful husband to Vanessa! I’m so excited for their wedding at the Monte Cristo Ballroom next year!
