This was my first time photographing at Inglewood Golf Club. Inglewood Golf Club features a gorgeous French Provincial design influence and sits on a gorgeous property. Dating back to 1926, it’s one of the oldest clubs in the PNW! I was so excited to photograph here because of it’s beauty and it was an added bonus that it’s approximately a 6 minute drive from my house! Yay for short commutes!
Now, to David & Shawna! Our story started off with me actually being booked on their wedding date! I was so sad to have to email Shawna back to say I was unavailable. But, with an odd twist of events, the wedding I originally had booked for that date changed their wedding date to later in the year! With just a couple days after I had sent that sad email to Shawna, I emailed her back to let her know that I had suddenly became available if she was still interested! I was THRILLED when she said yes! And there started our fun journey!
I didn’t meet David & Shawna until I photographed their engagement photos, but I was pretty much obsessed with them from the start. We photographed in the rain and it didn’t even phase them so I know they’d be a breeze to work with when it came to their wedding. Their wedding day started off warm & sunny (and stayed that way all day). If you can’t tell by the photos, Shawna absolutely lights up a room. Her smile emits sunshine & happiness! David & Shawna have such a great dynamic and it’s obvious how perfectly they fit together. Their day went flawlessly and ended in us chasing the sunset up the hill in a golf cart. That’s something I will never forget! I’m so excited to share these photos! Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Hurlbut!
