There is something so magical about photographing in the snow – and it’s one of my favorite things to do! Being that we don’t get a ton of snow in the greater Seattle area (it’s mostly wet), we’re so lucky that we only have to travel a quick 40 minutes to the mountain passes to visit the snow!
I picked up Taylor & Dakota to head out on our little adventure to Gold Creek Pond. I had never been to Gold Creek Pond before but heard it was absolutely stunning so I wanted to check it out! When we arrived, we realized that the road to get to the parking lot was closed (whoops!). But, these two were such troopers and trudged a little over half a mile through the snow with me to reach the pond. And seriously, it was SO worth it! This location is absolutely GORGEOUS!
These high school sweethearts are so cute together! I actually attended the same high school as Taylor! We have tons of mutual friends so the funny part was is that I actually saw a video of their proposal on Facebook!! How funny is that?! I was so excited that Dakota ended up inquiring with me afterwards! These two have such a great energy in front of the camera – you can tell that they truly love each other. And Taylor was such a trooper even though he was totally missing the Sunday footballs games! Whoops again! Ha!
These two are tying the knot in October 2017 at Melrose Market Studios and I am SO excited. I photographed a wedding there last April and I absolutely LOVED it! It is one of my favorite venues! I’m so looking forward to photographing their special day next year! Here are some favorites from their engagement session!
